After dinner at Bistro Kaz, Laura and I walked over to get some dessert at Cafe Hue. I haven’t been to Cafe Hue in years! It was about time to check this place out again.
It looked pretty much the same to me. Gelato case in front, couches in the back. The menu was set up differently but pretty much had all of the same items on it.
After we both placed our orders, we sat over on the comfy couch.
Laura got a mini gelato cup. I’m sorry to say I don’t remember what the flavors are.
I always love the little spoons they give you for gelato. It reminds me of the popsicle sticks they’d put in with the ice cream cups you’d buy at the grocery store.
Looking back at my old post, I can see I almost got the same thing, but without the gelato this time. It’s a nutella waffle with lots of nuts on top! The waffle was nice and warm, slightly crisp, and had plenty of yummy nutella mixed into all the nooks and crannies. The nuts on top give it an extra bit of crunch – I love it!
Perhaps the next time I come here I’ll remember to try a crepe or something different. Seems unlikely though. Waffles and nutella always sound like the perfect combination to me. Cafe Hue is a cute, cozy little spot for some dessert. They also offer teas and coffees. It’s a nice relaxing spot and great for hanging out with good friends!
