Considering the little heat wave we’ve had this week, it couldn’t be a better time to go and try out some gelato. Paciugo Gelato, a family owned gelateria, will be giving away a complimentary scoop of gelato to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Check out the details below!
In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, Paciugo Gelato & Caffè will offer customers across the nation a complimentary scoop from one of two of its Italian gelato recipes, either Amarena Black Cherry Swirl or Mediterranean Sea Salt Caramel. The anniversary marks a significant milestone for company co-founders Cristiana Ginatta, her husband Ugo and his son Vincenzo, after leaving their hometown of Torino, Italy for Dallas, Texas a decade ago.
Paciugo Gelato Caffè freshly handcrafts more than 30 flavors each morning in small batches, using wholesome ingredients such as whole milk, cane sugar, hand-squeezed fruit juices and seasonal fruit from local farmers, chocolate from Belgium and Italian hazelnuts, pistachios and candied amarene cherries. In addition, the menu features 100% Arabica coffees and espresso-based drinks, as well as gelato-based specialty drinks and desserts and premium hot chocolate.
For those here in Southern California, there are 3 shops which will be scooping out the free gelato on September 30th, 2010:

hi mary – very cool – didn’t even know about this place. i haven’t been to plaza bonita in a loooong time. too many students there! but this just might entice me to go!
word ver was MUFFIN! 🙂
I didn’t know about it either, I think the last time I was in Plaza Bonita was over a year ago, at least. It’s not really my neighborhood mall anyway, but I spend a lot of time there as a teenager myself… haha. Get some free gelato for me, too!
Mary, gorgeous photo! (I learned so much from Danny last Saturday at camp.) In this weather, don’t we all wish we could get some free gelato!
Hi Jean – While yes, I did learn quite a bit from Danny at Camp Blogaway, I sadly did not take this photo. But, I will be trying out this gelato soon and will have my own photos to share, which hopefully will look just as delicious! Thanks for stopping by!
hi mary – didn’t go to get free gelato after all – the weather yesterday was so crappy with the thunderstorms and all. plus my daughter and i went to mariposa again so we didn’t want to get dessert twice!
Hey CC – God, the storms were crazy yesterday. I didn’t get to go either! But I will be trying that gelato soon enough!
