WOO!

Holy crap cakes, I just finished writing my novel for National Novel Writing Month. My 50K+ word novel in one month!
It’s not in the best shape right now. It needs work and tweaking and rewriting, but I actually did it and finished on time!
I’m going to take a moment to be proud of myself.
Regular food blogging will commence shortly

Congrats on setting AND meeting your goal, Mary!
Congrats! You wrote a novel in a month… that’s awesome!
Congrats! I thought of participating, but why is it in November??? It’s tough when there is a Thanksgiving to plan.
Hi Darlene – Thanks a bunch! It’s been a long month.
Hi Leanne – Thank you! Rewrites are now on the horizon
Hi Jess – Thanks! It is kind of a crazy month to do it.
That’s quite the accomplishment, I knew you were writing but missed it if you said what it was about.
Hi Rodzilla –
It’s a YA novel. It’s about a girl who gets caught up in this underground secret group called the Guardians who protect the world from a race of shadowy, dark magic bearing people called Cimmerians. Some shit goes down. She falls for a dude. Trouble happens and she must figure out how to save the day! That’s my super duper summary.
Wow, that’s quite an accomplishment! To say you want to do something is one thing, to actually follow through and do it is an achievement, and to write a novel in one month (with two days to spare, it looks like!) is amazing!
Thank you! Now I just need a new goal: to edit and do rewrites!
