85c Bakery Giveaway

Did you think my giveaways were done since I didn’t post Friday?? Guess what – we’re not done YET! I’ve got a few giveaways left for my blogiversary this year – hooray! Today’s giveaway involves a dangerous place for me… 85c Bakery.

My #1 favorite thing to get from 85c Bakery is the Salted Butter Bread. This bread tastes like it’s already buttered on the inside and there’s a sprinkling of yummy salt right on top. When you get it fresh (FRESH BREAD!), the bottom is slightly crispy. I always buy like 3 of these at a time. One to eat right away, one in case someone in my house wants one, and one for breakfast the next day. Love these!

Another treat I love to get from 85c is this Premium Milk Bread. If you wait too long to eat it, the powdered sugar will “magically” disappear. I advise eating it when it’s still slightly warm so that the white chocolate pieces inside are still slightly melted. This might seem like a super sweet bread, but it’s not tooth achingly sweet. A good balance.

My other new favorite item at 85c Bakery is the Mount Fromage cake. The Mount Fromage is in the case with all of the other slices of cake. It’s a super airy and very light cake with a cheesecake-y texture. It’s like eating a super fluffy cheesecake. I love it!

Surely you’ve been to 85c Bakery by now and you have your own favorites. Or if somehow you haven’t been, here’s your chance to win a $10 gift card from me!

  1. It’s a tie between the garlic-cheese bread and the chocolate yudane buns (the ones with chocolate chips in the center). I know what you mean about it being a dangerous place. I can’t make pastries from there last more than a day because I eat them way too quickly.

  2. I like those crazy breads with hot dogs baked inside! – but still navigating my way through everything. So many surprises, things never taste as I expect, so that makes me a big-time novice. But I keep coming back! That cheesecake looks amazing!

  3. the coconut puff pastry was my favorite. so good!! also he mango roll was different and very good. Can’t wait to try more items.

  4. If only I lived near one, I would be there all the time. Definitely none located on the East Coast as far as I know.
