The 3rd Annual VinDiego Wine and Food Festival is coming up this weekend! I attended the very first VinDiego festival when it was held back at the Broadway Pier netting some gorgeous sunset photos.

Since VinDiego is over in Liberty Station this year, expect less pretty sunset photos from me and more photos like these:

I’m certain that someone, somewhere at this event will have cheese samples out. Wine + cheese is a magical pairing that cannot be ignored.
And also lots of wine photos. VinDiego was where I discovered Terra d’Oro’s moscato white wine, which I adore and have drank several times. I actually once almost finished a whole bottle by myself which is quite unusual for me.
Stacey will be my cohort again at the event and I’m sure we’ll stick to the same routine as last time. Reds for Stacey, Whites for Mary and bites of food in between.
Some of the eateries featured at this year’s VinDiego are Pacific Time, Fig Tree Cafe, Grant Grill, The Patio, Crazee Burger, City Tacos, Bice Ristorante, The Barrel Room, Fitzee Foods, Stella Italian Fare, Chef DK Catering, Chez Loma Bistro, Marina Kitchen, Solterra, Jake’s Del Mar, Studio Diner, Flagship Cruises and Solare. Looks like there is more food this year (hooray!) and I’m going to shoot for trying all 18 of the foods this year! I wonder how much wine I’ll be able to drink… hmm.
