    So glad you’re feeling better. I’ve never had pneumonia but I know it’s extremely serious. Take care! And those cookies with browned butter look so good.

    awesome cookies man. browned butter really makes a difference with the taste.

    i haven’t seen those TJ’s toasted honey almonds before. sounds like a great combination. i wish you were my co-worker, so i could have had some of that batch! 🙂

      I think the honey roasted almonds are new – I saw them for the first time when I picked them up! Browned butter really does make a difference… plus it just smells SO GOOD.

      • if you ever do a road trip up the coast, stop by the brown butter cookie company in Cayucos, a cute little beach town. It was posted by marie of meandering eats a couple of years ago, as well as myself….you would LOVE it!!!!!

  4. Does melting + browning the butter change the crumb of the cookie compared to using normal room temperature ish butter?

    And these look amazing, for me personally the bigger the chocolate chip the better the cookie so I love these fat Guittard chips!

      Hi J.S.! I found that the cookies seem to be crispier when you use the browned butter instead and seems to adhere together about the same. Definitely a good idea to wait to let the butter cool down before using it, too. I love the fat chocolate chips – you get more chocolate per bite! Very important 🙂
