Lemon Month at Souplantation – and a Giveaway!

It’s Lemon Month at Souplantation for the month of April – what a great way to kick off Spring! Souplantation is honestly one of my favorite restaurants – I love being able to fill up on salad that I created (I get picky about what I like in my food) and then I like hitting the muffins and breads before grabbing a little pasta to round out my meal. And I don’t feel awful after eating there, even though sometimes I may have eaten one too many mini muffins… and let’s not even talk about the honey butter. You know it’s delicious and you can’t resist it, either!

Summer Lemon Salad at Souplantation

In honor of Lemon Month, Souplantation is featuring nine new lemony dishes for your tastebuds to feast on: Sweet Lemon Slaw, Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup, Summer Lemon with Spiced Pecans Tossed Salad (photo above), Lemon Cream with Capers Pasta, Lemon Rice with Cashews Salad, Tangy Lemon Muffins, Lemon Lava Cake, Sugar-Free Lemon Mousse and Lemon Gelatin.

The Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup and Lemon Lava Cake sound especially delicious to me! Though that photo above makes me want to dig into the Summer Lemon Salad as well… are you itching to try a few of these new dishes, too? Well now you can! The fine folks at Souplanation were nice enough to offer up a sweet giveaway for our readers: two complimentary meal passes to Souplantation!

Here’s what you need to do in order to enter the giveaway:

1. Make a comment below stating which of the nine new lemon dishes you would love to try this month at Souplantation.
2. Only one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be removed.
3. Make sure you list a valid email address so you can be contacted.
4. Entries will be taken until Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at midnight PST.
5. Winner will be announced April 19th, 2009.

  1. That lemon lava cake is making my mouth water just imagining it! I love Souplantation, and have been known to eat ridiculous quantities of their quattro formaggio focaccia!

  2. The Souplantation near me is PACKED on the weekends around 6 PM, with all the families. You can always find something relatively healthy and good for everyone. I think that Lemon Lava Cake has my name on it 🙂

  9. I love going to Souplantation. I’ve tried their delicious soups, salads and muffins. My favorite is chocolate with frizzen yogurt on top with caramel and chocolate syrup. I bet I would love the lava lemon cake too!

  19. I would like to try the muffins. Why? Because they make some BOMB muffins here.   22. I like the sound of all that lemon. Mmmmmm I think the Sweet Lemon Slaw sounds unique. I believe I would very much like to taste that. It is a tough choice; the kid part of me still says lava cake.
