Macy’s is doing another one of their chef cooking demos here in Southern California – this time featuring Chef Ming Tsai who’s currently in the running for the next Iron Chef. I’ve seen Chef Tsai’s cooking show on PBS and I’ve enjoyed watching it in the past. If I lived a little closer I would totally want to check it out! But maybe you live nearby or a bit closer – this is a great opportunity to see him work! Admission is just $5, which will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of OC. On Friday , November 12 at 6:30PM, Chef Ming Tsai will demonstrate “East Meets West Cooking” at Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. You may have seen Ming on his public television series “Simply Ming” or read one of his cookbooks Blue Ginger, Simply Ming One Pot Meals: Quick, Healthy and Affordable Recipes, and Ming’s Master Recipes. He’s also currently in the running to become the Next Iron Chef on the Food Network!
At Friday’s event, Ming will work his magic in the Macy’s kitchen and share crowd-pleasing recipes that can be cooked in minutes.Following the demonstration, Chef Tsai will sign copies of his aforementioned cookbooks which will be available for purchase the day of the event and mingle with shoppers.

Admission is $5, which will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. No reservations are required, but seating will be held on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited to 200.
