August is a month of birthdays! T’s got his birthday this month and my little furball, Maya, also had a birthday this month! I’ll be talking about the latter today. She turned 11 years old this month which I find insane and crazy. For her birthday, we took and her buddies out for a special treat at Starbucks. A Puppuccino treat!
Here’s the birthday girl in her new Thundershirt which helps out SO MUCH.
We headed over to Starbucks for human drinks and doggie puppuccinos. Jake got a white chocolate mocha, T got a hazelnut Frappuccino and I got one of their mini 10oz mocha Frappuccinos. The cups in the middle are the puppuccinos!
In case you don’t know, a “puppuccino” is a cup of whipped cream for your dog. Puppuccinos are free!
We gave each dog their own puppuccino. Maya wasn’t too sure about sticking her face in there.
Little Bit, on the other hand, was like “HELL YEAH GIMMIE THAT!”
Short Round was also pleased with this “drink”.
Maya, my little princess, would only lick a little bit of cream from our fingers. She wasn’t into it. Oh well, at least we tried.
Short Round got to have the rest of Maya’s uneaten puppuccino and I think he was quite pleased.
Happy 11th Birthday to Maya! Such a sweet face she has. That’s so cool that Starbucks offers pets this “treat”!
Thanks, CC! I do think it’s a cool little treat for the dogs. It makes a trip to Starbucks a little more special! I wonder if any local coffee shops do something similar?
