taste of hillcrest giveaway

The 15th Taste of Hillcrest is just around the corner, you guys! Taste of Hillcrest was the very first ever “taste” event I went to and it is by far one of the largest taste events in San Diego with over 40 restaurants participating. I’ve never been able to hit up all the spots in the 4 hour time limit, but it’s always fun to try. Check out the places we hit up at last year’s Taste of Hillcrest for an idea of what’s in store for you. Some of the restaurants featured are long gone but new spots have taken over. It’s always an adventure to check out this event!

Some of my favorite treats from last year’s event were:

2-salt-and-cleaver-mini-sausages

The mini sausages from Salt & Cleaver.

4-d-bar-chocolate-raspberry-flatbread

This dark chocolate bar from D Bar.

12-urban-mos

And these crazy good fried green beans from Urban Mo’s. YUM.

  1. D Bar!!! I’ve had a good meal there already and I’m excited to see what bites they will offer during the event. =)

  2. excited to check out Oscar Wilde Irish Pub!! in college I made myself up to look like a painting of Oscar Wilde for my stage makeup final project–got an A!! ????

  3. I absolutely love Thai cuisine and I’ve heard great things about Lotus Thai but haven’t gotten around to going for some reason! This would be a great way to try it out as well as neighboring restaurants in the area 🙂
