This week’s Tasty Thing in Life: Cornbread!
I’m semi-reluctant about posting about this cornbread because it’s not always consistent here at Crispy Fried Chicken on El Cajon Blvd. in City Heights. But I’ve had it be really excellent enough times to warrant it. When you get the cornbread here and it’s freshly made, it’s pure heaven. Warm, soft, buttery and sweet – it’s like the perfect piece of cornbread. Yum, yum! Most of the other side dishes here suck so it’s nice that they have at least one side dish that is really excellent (when it’s fresh, of course).
What’s your favorite side dish?
